The Directorate of Quality Assurance at Kabale University has organized a two-day sensitization workshop on Competence-Based Education (CBE), scheduled for 9th and 10th April 2026 at Kikungiri Hall.
The workshop is designed to enhance participants’ understanding and practical implementation of Competence-Based Education approaches, which are critical in improving the quality of teaching and learning outcomes in higher education institutions.
Facilitators from the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC), Kampala, will lead the sessions, providing expert insights, practical frameworks, and guidance on aligning teaching methodologies with competence-based standards.
Participants will gain valuable knowledge on curriculum delivery, assessment strategies, and learner-centered approaches that foster skills development and academic excellence.

Academic Staff, Teaching Assistants, Heads of Departments, Faculty Deans, Quality Assurance Committees, Curriculum Developers
