Kabale University on Monday, 27th July 2026 hosted the Deputy Head of Public Service Mrs. Jane Kyarisiima Mwesiga (in charge of Performance and Service Delivery in the Office of the Prime Minister) with her team from the Ministry of Public Service for a strategic engagement at the Main Boardroom, Kikungiri Campus. The meeting was convened following an invitation from the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Service, communicated through Letter Ref. PER025/330/01 VOL.1 dated 14th July 2026. The purpose of the engagement was to discuss performance management implementation in the university. The session was chaired by the DVC F&A and attended by Deans, Chiefs, Associate Deans, Deputy Chiefs, Deputy Academic Registrars, Deputy US, Deputy Bursar, Principal Officers, and Senior Management. Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between Government and Kabale University on policy alignment, service delivery standards, institutional governance, and professionalism within public service.
