The Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences conducted a field tour to enhance students’ practical understanding of Uganda’s key industries. The group visited ACPCU (Ankole Coffee Producers Cooperative Union) and Canary Winery to learn about coffee processing and local wine production. They also explored operations at Hima Cement Factory in Kasese, gaining insights into cement manufacturing and industrial practices. The experience provided valuable exposure to real-world economic activities and strengthened the link between classroom learning and industry.
