Kabale University proudly hosted the induction and training of Guild and Games Union leaders on 28th April 2026 at KABSOM Hostel. This significant event marked the beginning of a new leadership journey, bringing together elected student leaders for orientation, capacity building, and strategic alignment.
Held under the theme “Turning Visions into Reality: Developing Actionable Plans from Campaign Promises and Strategic Planning,” the training focused on equipping leaders with practical skills to translate their manifestos into meaningful outcomes. Participants engaged in insightful sessions on leadership, accountability, teamwork, and effective planning, fostering a shared commitment to excellence and service.
This was presided over by the Vice chancellor Prof. Joy Constance Kwesiga, Dean of Students Mr. Amos Tukamushaba, Principal Communications officer, Canon Sempungu Godfrey and many others from the different university departments.
The induction not only celebrated the trust placed in these leaders by the student body but also emphasized the responsibility they carry in shaping a vibrant and responsive university community. Through interactive discussions and expert guidance, the leaders gained valuable tools to drive impactful initiatives and uphold the values of Kabale University.
