In an election held last evening at the University, Jackie Masamba Rukyamuzi emerged victorious as the Senior Staff Administration Representative to Council for the new term. Jackie secured a total of 13 votes, surpassing her opponent who received 8 votes.

Expressing her gratitude for the support shown by her colleagues, Jackie pledged to advocate for the interests and concerns of the administrative staff at the council level. She emphasized her commitment to fostering inclusivity and ensuring that the voices of all staff members are heard and considered in decision-making processes.

The election event was conducted under the supervision of the University’s Internal Auditor, ensuring transparency and fairness in the electoral process. It provided an opportunity for Senior Administrative staff members to democratically elect their representative who will serve as a bridge between the Senior administrative staff and the university council.
