The Kabale University Directorate of Research & Grants (DRG) has successfully concluded a five-day Innovation Booster Camp aimed at equipping innovators with practical skills to transform research ideas into viable, market-oriented solutions.
The intensive bootcamp, held from 30th August to 4th September 2026, brought together 45 participants representing 22 potential innovation projects. The programme focused on strengthening participants’ capacity to move their innovations beyond the research stage towards implementation, investment and commercialization.
The Innovation Booster Camp was conducted in partnership with the Africa Innovation Network (AINN) and adopted an intensive, practical-based methodology that enabled participants to continuously develop and refine their individual innovations under the guidance of experienced technical experts.
