On 26th June 2026,Kabale University held the 47th Meeting of the University Council, marking the conclusion of the Financial Year 2025/2026. During the meeting, new Council members were officially sworn in, including Assoc.Prof.Helen M. Byamugisha the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance and Administration), HE. Justus Drake Kyarikunda the Guild President, Ms. Phionah Kyasiimire the Guild Representative to Council, and Mr. Dan Ndyamureeba Ministry of Public Service Representative. The Council also received the National Planning Authority (NPA) Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Consultancy Team for the kick-off of a meeting on the development of student accommodation infrastructure and related services, reaffirming the University’s commitment to strengthening governance and enhancing the learning environment.
