Kabale University has continued to strengthen its commitment to nurturing and guiding future professionals through meaningful community engagement and academic outreach initiatives.
Today, 26th May 2026, a team from Kabale University led by Deputy Academic Registrar Dr. Monicah Rullong Kanyesigye, together with the Communication, Marketing and Branding Office headed by Canon Sempungu Godfrey, Nick Kanyesigye, and Mr. Joseph Kiva from the Department of Communication Studies, conducted a career guidance session at Immaculate Heart Girls School.
The engagement brought together both O-Level and A-Level students in an interactive and informative session aimed at helping learners make informed academic and career decisions. The Kabale University team guided students on appropriate career choices, subject combinations, and the importance of excelling in core subjects relevant to the university programs they aspire to pursue.
Students at A-Level were advised on how to align their subject combinations with future professional ambitions, while O-Level students received guidance on the subjects they should prioritize to qualify for desired combinations at advanced level education.
Speaking during the session, the Kabale University team encouraged students to remain focused, disciplined, and determined in their academic journey, emphasizing that proper career planning and academic excellence are key pillars for future success.
The students expressed great excitement and appreciation for the visit, noting that the guidance, encouragement, and motivational words shared by the team had broadened their understanding of career opportunities and inspired them to work harder toward their dreams.
The outreach reflects Kabale University’s continued dedication to empowering young people through education, mentorship, and career development as the institution continues to shape transformative leaders for society.
