KABALE, UGANDA , Kabale University, through its Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (FAES), has hosted a stakeholder progress update and feedback workshop to share intermediate findings, key milestones, and practical insights after one year of implementing the KI-WATER project.

The initiative formally titled Building Regional Capacities in Integrated Water Resources Management in the Kigezi Highlands is a joint two-year collaboration between Kabale University (KAB) and Austria’s BOKU University (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna). Running from April 2025 to April 2027, the project aims to address pressing water security and environmental management challenges across the Kigezi region.
