Kabale University conducted a training workshop organized by the office of the university Bursar on Budget Preparation, Execution, Reporting, and Accountability at the University Computer Laboratory on 10th July 2026 as part of its continued commitment to strengthening financial management, accountability, and compliance with applicable financial regulations and policies.

The training was facilitated by Ms. Lydia Kobusinge, Senior Economist, Budget Policy and Evaluation Department at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, who guided participants through best practices in budget planning, execution, financial reporting, and accountability. Staff members from various units were encouraged to identify and share challenges encountered in budget preparation, execution, reporting, and accountability to foster practical discussions and identify effective solutions.
