Women staff of Kabale University gathered for the Women of Influence Retreat at Bunyonyi safari Resort, a platform dedicated to self-care, mental wellness, personal development, and professional growth. The session, facilitated by Dr. Lynnette Tumwine Kyokunda, Associate Professor and Head of Pathology at KABSOM and the chairperson, WIKAB(2025-2027), encouraged participants to reflect on their wellbeing, embrace leadership opportunities, and intentionally invest in personal and professional growth. The retreat emphasized mentorship, empowerment, resilience, and the important role women play in shaping institutions, communities, and future generations. The retreat attracted more than 70 female staff of kabale university and other distinguished invited guests from other organizations, Prof.Rhoda Wanyenze is a physician, public health consultant, academic and medical administrator.
