Kabale University has marked a significant milestone in its institutional journey with the successful leadership transition of the Kabale University Academic Staff Association (KABASA), held at the University Board Room. The event highlighted continuity, collaboration, and a shared vision for advancing academic excellence and staff welfare.
The ceremony officially witnessed the handover of leadership from the outgoing Chairperson, Professor Abed Mucunguzi, to the incoming Chairperson, Dr. Eliab Byamukama Mpora and all other members. It brought together members of university management, and stakeholders of the association in a moment of reflection and forward looking commitment.
Kabale University Academic Staff Association (KABASA) is the official body representing academic staff at Kabale University, dedicated to promoting staff welfare, professional development, and constructive engagement with University Management. The association provides a united platform for engagement on matters affecting members and the University community. In line with its Constitution, KABASA works to advance the professional, social and academic interests of staff, strengthen cooperation among members and with other academic bodies. It encourages discipline, and offers appropriate advice to University Management on issues of mutual concern. This complements Management’s priorities for institutional development, quality service delivery, sound governance, and the continued growth and reputation of Kabale University
