The Kabale University Engineering Students Society (KESS) General Assembly, held at the UNITE Main Hall Kabale under the theme “Building a Research and Innovation-Oriented Future,” brought together students, faculty, and industry experts to inspire innovation in engineering. Key speakers Dr. Julius Arinaitwe(Chief, Director of Research& Grants), Eng. Alison Abenabo(Senior Engineer MoWT-Kabale),Mr. Simon Atwine(Assistant ICT Officer & CEO Rendersoft Tech, Assoc.Prof.Moses N. Twesigyeomwe(former Dean FETADFA) emphasized the importance of research, reverse engineering, and industrial training in bridging theory with practical solutions. The event highlighted the university’s commitment to supporting student-led innovation, fostering creativity, and equipping future engineers with skills to address real-world challenges.
