Kabale University held its 44th Meeting of the University Council on Friday, 26th September 2025 at the Rukungiri Campus.
The session was marked by key deliberations and activities, including the swearing-in of Mrs. Tukamushaba Christine, the new Representative of Support Staff on Council, reaffirming the Council’s commitment to inclusive representation, strong governance and leadership of the University.
As part of the day’s program, Council members undertook a guided tour of the Rukungiri Campus, where they interacted with staff and students of the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. During the tour, students showcased their ongoing field activities, highlighting practical learning and innovation in agriculture and environmental sciences.
The visit not only enabled the Council to witness first-hand the progress of academic and practical training at Rukungiri Campus but also strengthened engagement between University leadership and the student community.
